Julianna Baggott has spoken at universities, conferences, and at distinguished reading series. Her talks on efficient creativity reach across disciplines, fields, and business models; she’s lectured at a hedge fund as well as designed and run a cross-disciplinary faculty seminar on the subject. As a novelist, she’s toured widely overseas.
Julianna has been featured at numerous literary conferences, including the Virginia Festival of the Book, Fall for the Book, the Tennessee Williams Festival, the American Library Association, BEA, and Associated Writing Program. She has spoken at dozens of universities, including Notre Dame University, Dartmouth College, Wake Forest University, Sarah Lawrence University, and as the commencement speaker at Florida State University. She has read her work at the Folger Shakespeare Library’s O.B. Hardison Poetry Series.
In her role as children’s book author, writing under both her own name and as N.E. Bode, she has spoken to thousands of school children, and at child-focused events such as the Child on the Page Conference at Auburn University and the California PTA’s annual convention. She has participated in University of Pennsylvania’s MAGPI Creative Minds Series. As N.E. Bode, she was a recurring personality on XM-Sirius Radio for two years.
